Project 1 :
We are tasked to understand the traditional streets through the tangible and intangible qualities of architecture and space by sketch it out. It allows us to have a better grasp of the specific contexts that make up the place identity and socio-cultural meanings of the traditional streets. ​ The final product of this project was a sketch diary with a written summary.

In this project, I've gained more knowledge on layout the information. I've also learnt the different culture in the varying facades that could tell the year in which the shophouses are built. Non-physical contexts include the famous cuisine in the street as well as the social institution that assists the local community. Besides, particular street has its own identityFor instance, diverse street consists of different religious to worship and practice their own religion. As I am glad that I am able to grab the chance to learn more about the street itself by understanding its great and the history behind the street.
Project 2 :
Students are required to create an infographic that demonstrates their knowledge of and comprehension of traditional and vernacular architecture as it is covered in our weekly lectures. Four subjects were provided for us to create our infographic on:​
- Traditional Chinese architecture
- Traditional Indian architecture
- Vernacular Malay architecture
- Vernacular architecture of Southeast Asia

From these topics, we were then supposed to decide on a specific theme to branch off into. The themes were:​
- Building typology
- Spatial layout conception
- Structures, materials and construction
​In this project, I've gained more knowledge on traditional chinese architecture through in-depth research on chinese architecture's buildings which features modularity at its finest through the structures, materials and constructions.I learned that the vernacular architecture of Chinese architecture are different in different states due to the culture which affect the building design. It was an interesting topic and yet I've also learnt how to create a informative infographic with a key image.
Project 3 :
Students had to collaborate in groups to undertake research for this final project, which they then turned into an infographic. We had a selection of topics and then a specific theme to base our research on. This project's goal was to make sure we could do APPROPRIATE and DETAILED research. We had to adhere to the guidelines outlined in our assignment brief in order to improve our ability to analyse, research, and explore.
