We were tasked to produce a set of orthographics, construction details, and construction processes based on the floor plan of a two-story concrete-built house. I was able to develop a wider understanding of the detailing of building elements on superstructure including the floor, wall, door, window, staircase, and roof, as well as sub-structural systems in buildings. We had to work in a group of 9 for this task, and some of the other participants were from a different course than I was. I was able to establish a number of new friends and work with them by forming a group. It took a lot of time and effort to gather the data and sketch it accurately, but the discovery was incredibly intriguing because it was the first time anyone had ever examined building components and construction methods. We had to finish this project quickly because there was also a STUDIO submission that week. Last but not least, I'd want to express my gratitude to Mr. Edwin, who served as my tutor during this voyage and helped to clear up some of our confusion along the way. I truly like this module since it allowed me to relax and unwind from the stress of my major subject, STUDIO.
